Welcome to Crescent Moon RagCoons
We are so excited to present our RagCoon Kittens, a unique blend of the Ragdoll and Maine Coon breeds. Our home is in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina where we raise our kittens to be well socialized with love and individual care from the day they are born. We limit our queen to one litter per year so each little one is very special.
Our RagCoons inherit the best from both of their pure bred parents: the affectionate, relaxed temperament of the Ragdoll and the regal size, intelligence and playful charm of the Maine Coon. With their lush coats, expressive eyes and affectionate nature, these kittens are sweet, friendly, and easy to love.

The kittens have arrived!
Ember delivered 6 beautiful, healthy kittens in the early morning hours of July 12th. They are so sweet and tiny. It is hard to believe that a 100g kitten can grow up to be a 20+ lb cat! They are all nursing beautifully & already have fat little bellies. Ember is so proud & is such an amazing little mama.
If you would like to be considered for a kitten from this litter, please submit an application. I have notified the waitlist & already have some applicants. I will be posting updates & pictures on the new Crescent Moon RagCoon Instagram.

"My boyfriend and I adopted our kitten (Dre) in February of 2025, and after six months with him, we could not be happier, both with our kitten himself and with the wonderful breeders we got him from.
Crescent Moon has been so kind and supportive. We regularly share updates and photos back and forth, and they are always loving and responsive. It’s clear they take time to match their kittens with the right families. Dre came to us litter-trained, harness-trained, and well socialized with both people and other animals (including dogs). He even gets along beautifully with our older (cranky) female cat.
Dre is now 10 months old, weighs around 13.6 pounds, and is incredibly fluffy. He was one of the larger kittens in his litter, so if you’re looking for a smaller cat, it’s worth discussing with the breeders. They know their litters well and can really guide you through the process.
As for the breed itself, it’s perfect for us. My boyfriend and I are in our mid-20s and had considered a dog, but weren’t ready for the commitment and expense. The Ragcoon has been the best fit. Dre is adventurous, loves the beach, hikes, and comes to work with me sometimes. He’s got about an hour of high energy each day and then turns into a total cuddle bug. He has a big, loud purr, follows us everywhere, and waits at the door for us to come home just like a dog would. He has never had a potty accident, is in excellent health, and every vet visit has been smooth.
We genuinely couldn’t be happier, and I wholeheartedly recommend both the breed and the breeders. I feel so lucky to have been chosen by Crescent Moon."
